Spending close to 25 years of his life abroad, he has come back home with a world of knowledge and experience that he has been sharing after he established Inside Out Jazz Lounge at his home.
He plays all sort of African drums and his trade mark is in making African Jazz using drums and jamming along with other instrumentalists.
The highlight of his career came about after he directed the Master Drummers of Africa, a percussion band consisting of best players from all over Africa.
Thebe came back to South Africa in 2010 and has been operating Inside Out Jazz Lounge ever since, participating in projects and making appearance in shows.
“The name Inside Out encapsulates the experience of the place because when you enter you feel like you’re walking indoors yet it’s an outside space”, he said.
