Not just crime in the One

Reece Klein was born in a place infamous for crime and the high prevalence of drug peddlers and users.

Eldorado Park Extension One has gained notoriety as being a very dangerous place in which a lot of bad things happen. This view is a contentious one and many either agree or disagree with this opinion.

Be that as it may, the newly crowned Gwara king comes from Extension One and now they have their very own Miss Gauteng Exclusive finalist.

Reece Klein was born in a place infamous for crime and the high prevalence of drug peddlers and users and raised in nearby Devland.

Throughout her schooling career, she attended primary and high school in Eldorado Park.

Reece Klein’s smile is as bright as her future.

The Miss Gauteng Exclusive beauty pageant searches for young women who aren’t just physically beautiful but who embody spiritual beauty as well.

She said, “The Miss Gauteng pageant is not only about the beauty of a woman but is merely searching for young phenomenal women that has great ambassadorship and entrepreneurial skills.”

Everyone who is vision orientated has a why. Klein is one of those vision orientated people and this is her why: “The reason I entered this pageant is to show young girls how to have fun without using drugs and alcohol since drugs and alcohol is a major hindering factor in the community that we’re living in. I would strive and do everything in my power to change that,” Klein said.

Community work is of the utmost importance when it comes to beauty pageants and the journey that these delegates encounter.

Klein said, “Part of our tasks as one of the Miss Gauteng finalists is that we have been appointed to do various community work and I have managed to accomplish and achieve a number of these.

“One of the most memorable was when I visited the old age home to help the sick and frail. I’ve been helping out at crèches and I also intend to go give some inspirational speeches or messages to a number of schools in Eldorado Park.”

Klein said, “I would just like to thank each and everyone that has made it possible for me to be here, especially my family and friends who voted me into the top 20 and I just want to say to each and every young person out there, that you should go for your dreams, strive for it, regardless of the situation you find yourself in, because young people mostly blame their circumstances and I don’t think that should hold you back.

“I do believe that they should always put God first in everything they do because God is our creator and He is the one that is willing and able to make all things possible.”
