Senaoane’s Dj Vusinator reflects on his successful celebration
Dj Vusinator looks back on his Vus Vus celebration and reveals details about his upcoming events.
Senaoane’s Dj Vusinator hosted his one-man Show, Vus’Vus day in Soweto on 31st of May that brought the young and old of Soweto together for a night of entertainment and great music. Vusinator spoke to Soweto urban on a night he says was very special to him.
“The atmosphere, the support and everything else went well, the people who came out behaved very well I have to say,” said Vusinator.
He admitted that the event began a bit later than scheduled. According to Nator, the delay was not due to technical reasons.
“No, it wasn’t anything like that (technical issue). A lot of people know that there is a car wash that side, so we decided to wait until they finished doing their job and that’s why the event began a bit later. But like I said, the supporters handled everything well. There was no problem.”
Dimakatso Peete from Orlando west is also one of those supporters; she said the event was a step forward for Soweto music and that she really enjoyed her time there.
“I went with my friends and we had a great time. They (her friends) already knew some of his songs, for me, it was a first but I really enjoyed his sound. I think we need more of these events in Soweto. We definitely have the talent,” said Peete.

The event, which lasted until the early hours on the following mourning, was part of the build-up to Vusinator’s main event of the year.
The Senaoane Dj and producer will be hosting his annual Three Years of Nator music celebration on the 29th June at Mabutos Pub in Soweto.
“Anyone who loves good music should really come out for this one. We have a great line up in store and a fantastic atmosphere to match it,” said Vusinator.
He also took time to thank everyone who helped him bring the event together.
“A lot of people helped, and I’d like to thank each and everyone one of them. Titus for helping us at the gate, he controlled everything and Nzuzo as well, these are just two of the people who helped. And thank you to the people who were at the event, they didn’t cause any of trouble so I’m very happy and grateful for that,” Vusinator said.
