A fun day for all

Vita Nova Centre for people with Cerebral Palsy held their annual Fun Day on August 31 in which residents at the centre, and school children, participated in races and fun activities.

“The Springs community can be so proud of our youth, ” says directer at the centre Michelle Immelman.

Students from Dr. Johan Jurgens High School, Pinegrove School, Selpark Primary and Strubenvale Primary braved the freezing cold to support the day.

The students participated in various events with the Vita Nova residents and Strubenvale Primary School won the “Best Supporter” trophy.

“It is wonderful that we have such caring and loving youth in Springs,” Michelle says.

At the end of the day everyone who attended was a winner, going home with a Vita Nova Rosette.
