V8 action at the Rock
High speed oval action will take place at Rock Raceway on February 8.
Rock Raceway spokesman Abie Sada, says a double dose of V8 action will take place when the Outlaw Sprints and Lexus V8 class will take to the circuit.
Please take note of the new starting times this year.
Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 2pm.
Refreshments will be on sale.
Entry for adults, R60 and children aged six to 12 years, R30.
Embankment parking only R40.
The Ice & Dice Robot 2 Robot Street Drags will take place on February 9.
“Everyone is welcome to bring their own car to see if they can take on down the 1/8 mile strip,” says Abie.
It’s all about heads up racing, you pick your own dice and away you go, there is no timing equipment involved just good old fashioned heads up racing.
Gates open 2pm and racing starts 3pm
Competitor’s entry is R50 (non members).
Adults entry fee is R30 and children aged six to 12 years, R20.
