The Eastern Gauteng Chamber of Commerce and Industry has embarked on a partnership with the Customer Care Area (CCA) manager Springs, Ace Phiri, to meet on a quarterly basis to discuss matters relating to infrastructure and service delivery in Springs.

This partnership also includes the various CPF sectors in Springs. The CPF will act as the voice and eyes for the residential areas as well as the Springs CBD. They will collect the necessary information regarding attention that needs to be given to the various problems in their respective sectors, for example, potholes, street lights out of order, traffic lights not working, manhole covers missing, and so on. This will assist the Chamber in correlating all the information to be sent through to the CCA manager.

Apart from the quarterly meetings, the acting general manager Anita Greeff, holds a monthly meeting with Ace who in turn informs the chamber of the progress.

The executive committee of the Eastern Gauteng Chamber of Commerce and Industry would like to express its gratitude towards Ace and his team for the excellent job that is being done to improve the environment in Springs.
