A woman was walking in Rokana Street at 4.15pm, two men approached her asking several questions.
Captain Johannes Ramphora, spokesman for the Springs police says after the woman talked to the men she continued walking.
One of the robbers jumped on her back from behind and ordered her to give him her cellphone.
This robber pulled out a gun and pointed it at her.
The other robber searched the woman and took her cellphone and cash.
Both robbers ran away.
The victim opened a case of armed robbery at the Springs Police Station.
