A valve in the water tower close to the PAM Brink Stadium is the cause of residents in Geduld and Paul Kruger-oord still being without water.
Themba Gadebe, spokesman of Ekurhuleni Metro says the valve that supplies water from the tower broke while the repairs on the burst water pipe were being done yesterday.
The residents of these areas were without water yesterday and remain without water.
Gadebe could not say when the water will be restored but assures residents that the metro’s technicians are working around the clock to restore the water supply.
In the mean time the metro has provided a water tanker roving between Presidentia and Rus ‘n Bietjie and another is situated at the Spar in Geduld.
