Two vehicles collide in Springs

Accident on the R51 Paul Kruger Highway leaves one man seriously injured.

An accident on the R51 Paul Kruger Highway this morning (January 22) left one man seriously injured and three with minor injuries.

When the Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on the scene they found that a minibus and two motor vehicles were involved.

It is believed that the minibus drove into a motor vehicle from behind, resulting in the motor vehicle colliding with another another vehicle.

When the paramedics assessed all the occupants of the three vehicles, they found the driver of one of the vehicles was in a serious condition.

According to Santi Steinmann, spokesman for Netcare 911, three people sustained minor to moderate injuries.

“All the injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for treatment,” she says.

Exact details of the accident are not available yet.

She claims traffic was affected as a result of the accident this morning.
