Woman robbed of cash

A woman was robbed of cash after drawing money at a bank in Selcourt on Friday (January 30).

She opened the remote gate at work and when she parked her vehicle she noticed two suspects next to her car.

Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora says the other suspect allegedly held open the remote gate.

The one suspect was armed and pointed the gun at the victim.

After handing over her handbag, the three suspects ran away.

The handbag contained cash, a cellphone, bank and other cards.

Ramphora says people should be vigilant when drawing money.
