Chance Children’s Home gets treated to a massive donation

A local modelling agency gave Chance Children's Home in Dunnottar a massive donation today (Saturday).

Chanay Rossi (15) who is a teacher at the modelling agency, brought a number of people and a large van filled with various goodies for the children.

They off-loaded around 20 bags filled to the brim with clothes, soft toys and other toys, food, bedding, beverages and sweets to spoil the children with.

Catherine Modise (27) is a care worker at the home and gratefully accepted the big donation.

“We look after around 90 children who live at the home, they vary in ages from one-year-old to 18,” she says.

The children were taken into cafeteria where they were seated and handed packets of sweets and cooldrinks by Chanay and the rest of the team from the modelling agency.

The team members were: Maryka du Plooy (22), Andrew Visagie (19), Zeaan Rossi (17), Chanay Rossi (15), Amolemo Mothibe (9), Taylah van der Walt (8), Jade Steyn (5) and Chadae van der Walt (3).
