Well done SAPS

The Springs police allegedly arrest suspects who were allegedly about to blow up an ATM in First Avenue, Bakerton on Friday.

Springs CPF deputy chairman Ahmed Choughley believes it was a brilliant tip off as the police arrived on the scene before the bombing could take place.

He was on his way to his business after 2pm, when he noticed a private car pull up next to the Absa ATM and a SAPS vehicle driving past showing a sign to the occupants of the private car.

It was then that he realised something was happening.

Within no time several suspects were arrested and explosives were found.

Ahmed compliments the police on a job well done.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora was not available for comment.
