Spiritually inspired book

Frances Walters (69), a Casseldale resident, recently published her first book, Betrothed to the King.

Frances feels the path she walked in the past, while being involved in radio ministry in the 80s, encouraged her to write this book.

“It was an inspiration from above and not from within me,” she claims.

“Starting to write a book is not always such an easy task and a dream of many aspiring authors, but it can take years of writing and research to produce a good quality book,” says Frances.

Although it took her two years to complete the book, she believes it can change people’s hearts.

The 19 chapters individually explain how to have an intimate relationship with God.

Frances says each chapter gives enough references to the Bible to prove that the word of God is the truth.

She has lived in Springs all her life and is very proud of the book which she calls her ‘relationship book’.

“I believe the book is about inspiring the reader to strive for the depth of understanding and intimacy with God,” she says.

She believes that if born again Christians really have a hunger for Jesus, they should read this book.

Betrothed to the King is currently available at the El-in bookshop in Seventh Street, Springs.
