Suspicious men rob business

Four men, pretending to be customers, robbed a business Seventh Street, CBD on Tuesday.

They entered the shop at 9am, and ordered warm chips.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says immediately after placing their order, the three men pulled out their firearms and instructed the six employees to lie down on the ground.

They searched the victims and took car keys, four cellphones and R11 000 in cash, which was kept in a room at the back of the business.

Ramphora says the suspects ran away.

A case of business robbery was opened.
