Pictures: Take a glimpse at what Springs Mall may look like

The developers of the Springs Mall at Blue Crane Eco Park recently said construction at the complex is on schedule.

However, no update is available to confirm that the opening of the mall is still scheduled for Easter 2017.

The 46 000sqm regional shopping centre is situated between Clydesdale and Wit roads, next to the N17.

The R950-million project will provide free open-air parking to both the upper and lower level.

The developers believe the location and visibility is well suited to serve as a dominant regional mall.

The mall will have four entrances, keeping the total entry and exit points to a minimum, and will also boast family entertainment and restaurants.

The Advertiser asked for an update, but the developers said: “We will only be able to supply you with the information on the development and leasing in the next couple of weeks”.
