Women encouraged to persevere
The House of Grace Family Church held a women's empowerment day in light of Women's Month on Saturday at the church in Pollak Park.
Pastor Thembi Skonde says the theme of the day was perseverance.
“Persevere until you see your promise, that is our wish for women,” says Skonde.
“Our aim was to empower women emotionally, financially, spiritually and physically,”
Skonde said about 150 women who attended the day.
Guest speaker Prof Richard Mthethwa gave an uplifting speech on enhancing women.
Pastor Nomonde Zulu gave the women a word of encouragement which was deeply appreciated.
Deaconess Gladys Dithako gave an inspirational talk on encouraging and motivating women.
Skonde says she feels the day was very successful and they were satisfied with how it turned out.
