Rest in peace, Wally
Johann 'Wally' Meadon (67), born on August 1, 1948, died on his farm in Vaalwater, Limpopo, on Thursday.
In his youth he attended Laerskool Christiaan Beyers and matriculated from Dr Johan Jurgens High School.
Wally first worked at South African Railways before opening his first scrapyard in Geduld.
He also owned two other businesses in Springs and KwaThema.

Wally played rugby for the Springs Rugby Club as well as for the Eastern Transvaal.
He is survived by his daughter, Monica Meadon, his daughter-in-law Bernadette Meadon and three grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at the NG Church Springs-Oos in Casseldale at 11am on Friday.
