The woman was questioned by the police and admitted to stabbing her boyfriend with a knife after an argument at 2am.

“When we interviewed the woman on the scene, she explained her boyfriend grabbed a knife and wanted to stab her,” says Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman.
The woman allegedly pushed her boyfriend away from her, grabbed the knife and stabbed him in the chest.
Ramphora says when the man fell down, the woman called for help.
Paramedics arrived at the shack and declared the man dead on the scene.

The woman was arrested for murder and taken to the police cells where she will remain until her court appearance.
