Wheel Derby fun at St Catherine’s

St Catherine's Nursery School held its annual Wheel Derby on Saturday, with children and their families coming out in full support of the event.

“The Wheel Derby is a favourite with the children and they had a wonderful day showing off their riding skills to all,” says school principal Susan Ramos.

The children were each given medals when they finished their race.

A lot of the children had their faces painted and, best of all, played with their friends.

The tea garden was there for those who wanted to sit and catch up with friends over a cappuccino, a cupcake, pancake or boerewors rolls.

“We are very fortunate to have an active and hard working parent teachers association (PTA) who pulled this fantastic event together,” Ramos says.
