Local author challenges beliefs and theories

The author of this book never realised he would one day discover far more than he could ever have dreamed of.

At a young age Springs resident Bushy van Eck (62), author of the book Theory of Consciousness It’s Time, became rebellious.

He set out to challenge everything he was ever taught, with no expectations no matter what, be it science or even religion.

“I always wanted to understand things in a way that made sense to me purely based on logic and not merely for the knowledge thereof,” he says.

As he set out to find the true essence of life and everything else, van Eck never realised he would one day discover far more than he could ever have dreamed of.

“From the day we are born, we are being programmed by our parents, teachers, family and friends and whoever crosses our paths.

“Our very behaviour, how we think and respond to the world, is a direct consequence thereof.

“We are disciplined into a society where we are separated by not only our religious beliefs, but also a diversity of other interferences.

“This is a society where no one is to challenge the status quo of the present-day thinking.”

The author says most of what people believe in has become nothing more than the indoctrination of a segregated social responsibility where the truth has become meaningless.

In this book no discipline remains unchallenged, not even Einstein’s theory of special relativity.

This book can and most certainly will lift those blindfolds where a whole new perspective of the world awaits you.

Van Eck’s first book, Prisoners of Your Mind, was published in 2009.

He is currently busy on his third book, but says it is only at the beginning stages.
