Anton Froneman is the new president for the Rotary Club of Springs

The Rotary Club of Springs inducted their new president, Anton Froneman, on Saturday morning.

Froneman will start his two-year term on July 1 and is looking forward to working with what he calls his extended family.

“It’s going to be business as usual but I would love to start a project that helps unemployed young people of Springs in the right direction,” says Froneman.

The president, who has been a Rotarian for 20 years was also grateful for the support the families of his fellow Rotarians.

“Thank you for sharing them with us.

“We know you don’t see them enough and they do excellent work,” says Froneman.

The outgoing president Siobheanne Landsberg was happy to hand over the mantle to Froneman and wished him well.

Landsberg will now be the assistant governor of the District.
