Springs Retirement Village Family Day a success
This was the first Family Day for the village.
The Springs Retirement Village held its first-ever Family Day on Saturday morning.
The day was well attended with over 120 family, friends and staff members attending the event.
Residents and guests were not put off by the overcast weather and enjoyed spending time together, as well as the entertainment provided.

“When we began planning this event we hoped it would be an opportunity for families to come together and have fun.
“We are thrilled with the outcome and will most definitely make this a regular occurrence.
“It is really heart-warming to see so many of our staff members present and engaging socially with our residents.
“It has certainly been a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know the people that we care for,” says Ann-lee Posthumus, the liaison officer at the village.
