Nuffield church kicks off Christmas festivities
The congregation sang their hearts out at the candlelight service, belting out old favourites such as “Jingle Bells”, “An African Christmas”, “Joy to the World” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful”.
Turning Point Ministries started the festive celebrations with their second annual Christmas market on Saturday afternoon. Pastor David Payaniandi says the market is an opportunity for local vendors to sell their goods.

“There are many local small businesses and it is important that we all do our bit to support them.
“Times are tough for everyone, and this is how we are helping them in our small way,” says Payaniandi.
Vendors sold various items, such as food, crafts and plants.
The church also hosted a lunch for the elderly in the community.
Later in the evening, the church had its Christmas carols evening.
