On Friday, while patrolling on Second Street, Springs SAPS officers were stopped by a passer-by who informed them about an abandoned foetus.
The remains were found inside a black dustbin on the pavement next to Ikage SD College.
According to the witness, he noticed the foetus while he was trying to clean the dustbin.

No one has been arrested.
