Baker on a mission to get Springs clean
“If we can restore pride in our town and surroundings, then we will see a big difference in the area,” says Baker.
Billy Baker has embarked on a campaign to restore Springs to its former glory.
“I grew up in Springs and I think I share most people’s sentiment when I say that we all want to see our town clean again.
“If we can restore pride in our town and surroundings, then we will see a big difference in the area,” says Baker.
The Springs-born resident started his campaign last March and formally resigned from his job in December to do this full-time.

“I love my community and I’m asking residents, businesses and council to join me and support me in any way they can.
“Last week I started on Nigel Road and will continue on to Springs West Road, Zig Zag Road, Rhokana Avenue and Tonk Meter Road.
“I will also pay special attention to key intersections and the parks at the George Sutter Pond and the Oppenheimer Circle,” says Baker.

Baker also has the vision to grow his campaign to create employment opportunities for residents and says since he has started, there are many who have stopped to ask if he can employ them.
