In 2015, God’s Angels foundation started reaching out to poorer communities on the East Rand.

Colette Oosthuisen registered the foundation in 2017.

Donors should note they are a non-profit company (NPC) and South African Revenue Service (Sars) registered, therefore clothing can be claimed back from their personal or business tax as charity.

Their primary focus is on families in Springs, but also reach out to families in Nigel, Dunotter, Brakpan, Strubensvale, Kempton Park, Benoni and Boksburg.

They already have two old age homes and a camp.

God’s Angels wishes to reach out to the Springs community to get involved with the charity by assisting with food, toiletries and adult diapers.

Unemployment is an issue close to the foundation’s heart and they ask that the community shares work opportunities on Facebook.

Colette asks anyone to assist and take the time to help with collecting and distributing donations and preparing soups after hours and over weekends.

Anyone willing to assist can contact Colette on 083 999 7529 or George on 084 464 1015.
