Items valued at R82 000 taken after Yvonne Street break-in
The suspects threatened to rape and kill her if she screamed.

A maid was tied up during a break-in at Yvonne Street last Friday morning says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The owners of the house had left for work leaving the maid alone in the house.
According to the maid, she heard hooting at the gate and when she went outside to check she found two suspects who pretended to be speaking to the owner of the house and told her they were at the home last week to fix the plugs and were coming back to check if they were still fine.

The victim then opened the gate for the suspects who went into the house and pretended to be checking the plugs until they got to the home office where one of the suspects suddenly pulled out a knife and ordered the maid to lie down and tied her legs together with a rope.
The suspects threatened to rape and kill her if she screamed.
The suspects took the two plasma TVs, a watch box, 11 watches, jewellery box, jewellery, a laptop, a cellphone, five perfumes and two handbags with an estimated value of R82 000.
