Springs CPF and CPsF donate 8 000 litres of water to Sundra

The CPsF will continue to collect water and deliver it to Sundra every week.

The Springs CPF and CPsF donated 8 000 litres of water to Sundra on Friday evening.

Sundra has been struggling to get a steady supply of water for over two months.

Residents say they have had to rely on water donations to survive and have struggled with basic household tasks and farmers with their crops and animals.

Ward Clr Dana Bath says although Sundra isn’t in her ward, her wards, Rietkol and Eloff, have also been affected as they all get fed from the same water supplier.

Springs CPF chairperson Barend van Heerden says the water-collection drive was a success and it was a team effort to make a difference in people’s lives.

The CPsF will continue to collect water and deliver it to Sundra every week.
