
“A shop owner was held at gunpoint during a business robbery in Reedville last Monday evening”, says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The victim was about to close the shop when he was approached by three men.
One of the men asked to buy food and the other asked if his cellphone could be repaired.After the victim responded by telling the men to come back the following day as he was closing the shop, the men pushed him into the shop and held him at gunpoint.

The suspects then demanded money from the victim.
A laptop, R350 in cash and two speakers were stolen.
As the suspects were running out of the shop, they fired two shots towards the victim but he was not harmed.
