Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says a couple was held at gunpoint during a house robbery in Presidents Park on Thursday.
The couple was sleeping when the man heard the sound of a window breaking and saw someone open it.

A suspect then entered the house and held the couple at gunpoint, while another kicked the door open.
One of the suspects then ordered the couple to lie down and he tied them up with shoelaces before searching their room.

The suspects got away with a TV, a microwave and R2 400 in cash.
No shots were fired during the robbery and no injuries were reported.
