A man was arrested for possession of drugs on the corner of Third Avenue and Third Street on Saturday, says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The constable on duty spotted the suspect’s vehicle and approached the driver.
He then searched the suspect and found a white substance on him, which he suspected to be drugs.
The policeman also searched the suspect’s car but didn’t find anything.
