A 31-year-old shopkeeper was robbed at gunpoint by three armed suspects on Wednesday afternoon.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says the complainant was alone in the shop when three suspects, armed with guns, entered the shop.
Two suspects held the complainant at gunpoint while shoving him away from the cash till.
Once he was away from the till, one of the suspects whipped him with the pistol while demanding to know where the money is.

The complainant pointed out where the money was and the suspects took an undisclosed of money, groceries and cellphone.Once the suspects took the goods, they fled in a white Toyota sedan.
No shots were fired during the robbery.
