Springs Bowling club on a roll

Despite very windy conditions, bowlers from Springs Town Bowling Club were eager to take to the field on Saturday.

Tokkie Hattingh and other members of the club started playing at 2pm and games continued late into the afternoon.

Saturday also saw the election of a new committee to lead the club for the rest of the year.

The elected committee members are Izak Hattingh as vice-president, Mike Smith as secretary, Talita Coetzee as treasurer and Willem Viljoen as the new club president.

Hattingh hopes the rest of the year will be a good one for the club and that everyone will work well together during this difficult period.
