A woman received a rude awakening when she woke up to find a man in her bedroom last Sunday evening.
According to Springs Police spokesperson, Amanda Greybe, the woman was in her 5th Street home when she heard a noise coming from somewhere in the house.
She sat up and saw a man trying to remove the TV from the wall.

When the man saw the woman was awake, he told her to shut up and pulled out a knife.
The woman was then instructed to remove her clothes from the wardrobe.
Once her wardrobe was empty, the robber took the woman’s purse, which contained R1 300, and fled the scene.
