KwaThema – KwaThema police are investigating a case of murder after a 41-year-old man was killed in his home on Sunday. The man has been identified as Noah Williams. It is alleged Williams arrived home with his girlfriend in the early hours of the morning after visiting a local tavern.

Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Sgt Media Khoza said the couple were then reportedly heard arguing inside their bedroom, then a sound of a loud ‘bang’ followed. “When a family member went to investigate he found Williams lying in a pool of blood. “A licensed 9mm firearm belonging to the man was on the top of the cupboard and the girlfriend was nowhere to be found,” she explained.

The family called an ambulance and police were summoned to the scene. “Police further received information that the girlfriend was admitted to the Pholosong Hospital. She sustained injuries to her upper body. “Investigations are still underway and no arrests have been made,” added Khoza. Follow us on:
