Police clean up Springs precinct

SAPSclean up the CBD

Springs police conducted a crime clean-up operation in and around the CBD on Friday morning.
Members tracked down wanted suspects for house and business robberies and possession of unlicensed firearms.
The operation was led by operational commander Lt Col Rajesh Ramlall and took place from 8am to noon.

“Police cleaned the town of nyaope addicts who commit business robberies and house robberies.
“The homeless were removed from various places around town, as they contribute to crime in the Springs precinct,” said Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
