Cupcakes of Hope held their annual fund-raiser on Saturday.
With Covid-19 and the lockdown, however, it was not possible for the NGO to sell their cupcakes at the Springs mall as usual.
Instead, they made use of an office on Ermelo Road where they prepared the cupcakes and made use of a contactless drive-thru system.

Volunteers spent hours preparing more than 1 000 cupcakes, and made sure the drive-thru system was as efficient as possible.
The money raised through the sale of the cupcakes will go towards helping children with life-threatening diseases.
Coordinator of the Springs branch, Brigite Pita said: “Its so heart-warming to see all of these volunteers eager to help.”
