Disgruntled customer steals TV from repair shop

The 42-year-old tried to stop the woman from taking the TV, but was threatened with a gun.

A Fifth Street repair shop was robbed of a TV by a disgruntled customer last Wednesday afternoon.
Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said the 42-year-old shopkeeper was serving clients at the shop when the woman and her accomplices walked in.
She demanded the shopkeeper hand over her TV, which she had brought in for repairs two weeks ago, but he explained he was still busy with the repairs.

The woman then demanded a replacement and pulled a TV that was mounted on the wall.
When the shopkeeper tried to stop her, one of her accomplices pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
They then fled the shop.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
