A Dersley Park husband and wife were robbed in their home during the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to Capt Johannes Ramphora from the Springs SAPS, the couple was sleeping when they were awakened by two men.
The victims, who didn’t see the men carrying weapons, were told to stay in bed and cover their faces.

The robbers demanded money and jewellery.
They fled with a laptop, a cellphone, R2 500 cash and jewellery.
Upon inspection it was discovered the robbers gained entry to the home by removing a steel bar from the kitchen security gate. No injuries were reported.
