Help save a life this Human Rights Day

It only takes 15 minutes of your time to change the lives thousands of patients.

In celebration of HumanRights Day on March 21, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is implementing a celebratory blood drive on March 22.

This is to recruit new donors and ensure there is sufficient stock of safe blood available in South Africa for the patients in need.

SANBS has started to see a decline in its blood stocks and is therefore appealing to all stakeholders to celebrate life on March 22 by partnering with your local blood donor centre and giving back to the community during these trying times.

Stakeholders are invited to:

• Complete the pledge list attached with the names and contact details of participants.

• Enter a team to donate blood on March 22.

• Take photos of their teams on the day.

SANBS encourages all stakeholders to celebrate life this Human Rights Day and take 15 minutes to change the lives of thousands of patients.

Every two seconds of every day, someone needs blood. Let us celebrate life to change the lives of thousands of patients this Human Rights Day.
