Sewage woes in Nuffield

An ongoing sewage problem continues to plague Jansen Road in Nuffield.
The street is a mix of industrial and residential properties.
According to resident Lindie Pietersen, the problem has persisted for years and sewage started flooding the street again on Friday.

“We have been stuck with this for years and the metro just doesn’t seem to care about it at all.
“People can’t work with this stench.
“It’s unacceptable,” said Pietersen.
Pietersen said the problem must be fixed permanently.
“It is affecting people’s livelihoods and businesses,” she said.
