A 25-year-old security guard was assaulted by three men at a construction site in KwaZenzele last Friday.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said the guard was in the guard room when he saw a shadow through the window and headed outside to investigate.

As soon as he stepped outside, three men tripped and assaulted him, before tying his legs together and covering his head with a hood.
They then put him back inside the guard room.
The guard later untied himself and went to find his colleague, who took him to the Far East Rand Hospital.
