Selection Park man falls victim to house robbers

It was later discovered the robbers had taken a plasma TV, DVD player, JVC TV and the victim’s cellphone.

A 49-year-old Selection Park resident was ambushed by armed robbers at his Watson Street home around 11pm on Saturday evening.
The victim told police he had just parked his car and was on the way to close the gate when he was approached by three armed men.
They took the victim to the garage where they tied him up with an extension cord.

Once the robbers had ascertained there was nobody in the house, they took the keys to the house and forced the victim to deactivate the alarm system.
It was later discovered the robbers had taken a plasma TV, DVD player, JVC TV and the victim’s cellphone.
The victim sustained injuries to his wrists.
