Business left in the dark

"The food in our fridge is going off," said Robinson.

Business owner James Robinson’s family shop has been left in the dark since the beginning of April.
Robinson’s shop along Second Street is unable to operate and is steadily losing capital.
“We can’t operate. The tills don’t work and we just sit here in the dark and wait for the power to come back on.
“The food in our fridge is going off,” said Robinson.

Robinson said he has phoned the Department of Electricity but they haven’t answered one of his calls.
He also paid the department a visit but even then they couldn’t give him a straight answer.
“They have this no-care attitude about the whole thing and it is extremely frustrating. I don’t know where to go anymore,” said Robinson.
