Yoga class to raise funds for feral cats
The event will take place at Progressive Music, Dance and Art School on Kentan Road on May 8.
Mothers and children can spend the day having fun while helping the feral cats of Springs.
Lerato Moukangwe, in partnership with Kattitude, will host a Mom and Me fund-raising yoga class.
Kattitude is an NPO that aims to aid feral cats by sterilising and feeding as many of them as possible.
The Selcourt-based Moukangwe said she chose to partner with Kattitude because she knows the founders of the NPO.

“I’ve had a couple of random cats in my yard, so I called Lyndsey Russell and Mandy Thorpe to check them out.
“They’ve always been awesome and helpful. I love cats and I just want to help them,” said Moukangwe.
The event will take place at Progressive Music, Dance and Art School on Kentan Road on May 8, the day before Mother’s Day.
Residents are encouraged to come with whomever plays the role of a mother in their lives.

“I am looking for an attendance of at least 44 people and hope to raise at least R4 000,” said Moukangwe.
The main activity of the day will be basic yoga.
Adults will pay R200, while children under 13 will pay R100, with all proceeds going to Kattitude.
