Local business people network at breakfast session
During the workshops, they invite different stakeholders like the bank, business development to share the services they offer for small businesses.
Duduza – Skylight It Centre hosted a business breakfast last Friday.
The event was aimed at motivating local business people and giving them an opportunity to market and network with their business peers.
Upcoming and established business people turned up to attend the event.
Rev Mali Mashini said they are planning to host the business breakfast events every first Friday of the month.

“The purpose is to create a space for small businesses to network and showcase the services they offer.
“We also offered workshop in-coaching and mentoring during the session and showed participants how to package their business plans for them to be able to apply for funding,” he explained.
Different stakeholders, including banks and business development entities, were invited to the workshop to share the services they offer for small businesses.

Mashinini added that to motivate those in attendance they branded caps and T-shirts with logos of their own business.
“This is to show them the importance of marketing and branding their business,” he added.
