Police give back to the community

For the second donation, 50 women from the Springs Police Station and the Department of Community Safety donated food parcels to the Thandabantu Community Care Centre in Geduld.

Officers from the Springs Police Station recently donated to two organisations as part of their community outreach programme.
The first donation was 15 packs of toilet paper to the Vita Nova Centre in Daggafontein.
Centre director Michelle Immelman was grateful for the donation and said every bit counts in helping them look after their residents.

Immelman also thanked the police for their hard work in the community and while putting their lives at risk.

The centre is a safe haven for abused women, and the donors said they wanted to uplift the women at the centre.
After the handover, the women attended a team-building session.
