Businesses support each other during hard times

The chapter consists of 22 businessmen and women that closed business of just under R2-million this year.

The Business Network International (BNI) Springs Chapter is looking for new members to join its organisation.
BNI is a business referral organisation where members help generate business for each other through referrals.
“Our mission is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive and professional referral programme that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.
“We aim to help and assist business owners, even small businesses, to survive and thrive during these challenging economic times.
“We believe you can get anything you want as long as you help other people get what they want first.
“The law of reciprocity means that by looking out for my fellow members and by giving them top-quality referrals, I am generating 70% of my business income from their referrals as well,” said Johan Nickols, president of the Springs chapter.

The chapter consists of 22 businessmen and women that closed business of just under R2-million this year.
To ensure there is no conflict of interest or opposition of your business in the chapter, only one member per classification is allowed.
The Springs chapter is looking for a building contractor, graphic designer, printer, solar installer, gas dealer, wedding venue, personal banker, massage therapist beautician, stationer and a computer retailer to pass referrals on to.
When asked what makes the Springs chapter different from the others, Nickols said, “BNI is more about farming than hunting. By cultivating long-term relationships, we are one big family looking out for one another. People do business with people they know, like and trust.”
