Dean Stone
Party: DA
Ward 72
I am standing as a ward councillor as I believe in the DA’s values and principles of freedom, fairness, opportunity and diversity.
I believe the DA is the party that gets things done and I pledge to serve the residents of Ward 72.
Ward 72 has a diverse community with numerous issues.
I will mainly concentrate on getting the basics right and ensuring the residents get the services they are paying for.
I will establish an effective ward committee that will respond to the needs of the people.
I will make sure there is effective communication between the residents and council.
I will also ensure problem areas identified in Ward 72 receive my urgent attention.
Issues such as sewer blockages, constant power outages, proper roads for residents to travel on and housing for the homeless will be some of my priorities.
I have been a councillor in Ekurhuleni for 15 years.
I will use the skills I have obtained from dealing with residents and the metro to better the lives of the residents of Ward 72.
I am up for the challenge and look forward to serving the residents of Ward 72.
