Gingers Day held at Pollak Park

After the incredible amount of rain on Thursday and Friday golfers were relieved to be able to play on Saturday morning.

The Pollak Park Golf Club hosted their monthly Ginger’s Day on Saturday.
After the incredible amount of rain on Thursday and Friday golfers were relieved to be able to play on Saturday morning.
The course is outstanding after all the rain and the grass is lush.
The bunkers were mostly waterlogged but that was to be expected.
“A good winning score was recorded and a very enjoyable morning was enjoyed by all,” explained Bruce Gardner from the club.

Andrew Theodorou took first place with 40 points.
He was followed by Alan Morgan on count out with 36 points.
In third place was Les van Breda with 36 points.
The longest drive was achieved by Ian Gould.
“Unfortunately, no one could get close to the green on the 6th,” added Gardner.
The longest day was awarded to Nathan van Breda.
